Intu Design is a Central Ontario-based design firm offering services in industrial design and environmental graphic design since 1997.

Led by founder and principal designer Stewart Bailey, Intu seeks out the best talent to create flexible design teams tailored to suit the needs of each project. Our design partners include Engineers, Architects and Landscape Architects, Lighting Designers, Software Developers, Graphic Designers and Content Specialists.

Intu has deep experience in design of signage, wayfinding and amenities for public spaces, outdoor environments, cultural spaces and heritage places. Our work can be found in some of Canada’s most iconic buildings and places.

Stewart Bailey

Stewart has over 30 years of professional experience designing for public spaces, signage and wayfinding. Over his career, Stewart has built a reputation for possessing a unique mix of creativity and technical acuity that he brings to each new design challenge. Stewart is a Professional Member of both the Society of Experiential Graphic Designers (SEGD) and the Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario (ACIDO).

We’ve been collaborating with Art Engineering for many years for all our structural design needs. We’ve lost count of the number of projects they’ve helped us out with, ranging from small non-invasive foundations to footings for tall pylon signs.

Jaan Krusberg Design

Jaan’s depth of knowledge about signage and wayfinding is beyond compare. We’ve been proud to collaborate with Jaan and his team on wayfinding projects in some of Canada’s most important buildings, including the home of Canada’s Parliament at West Block and the Canadian High Arctic Research Station.
