In collaboration with Achia Design, provided design advice for the site titles and dedication/donor plaques. This large and important monument was sensitively designed by Studio Daniel Libeskind, and it was an honour to be part of the team that brought it to fruition. The design elements we were responsible for were meant to be respectful, low key and unobtrusive, relaying information but not making any statement of their own. We worked hard on the details for this project, choosing materials, surface finishes and attachment details with the utmost care. The finished monument is a must-see experience in Canada’s capital.
